SUMMARY
Cotton Soft transfers is our most popular transfer for printing on light and dark garments. As the name implies, the print has a soft feel as well as being highly opaque on when printed on dark colored fabrics. All Cotton Soft custom transfers are screen printed using Plastisol ink on special release coated paper.

For 100% Cotton, Cotton/Polyester Blends:
Medium Pressure
365º – 375º degrees F
- Pre-heat garment 3-5 seconds.
- Apply transfer 7-8 seconds.
- Peel HOT.

Best Heat Transfers offers custom heat transfers, screen printed on plastisol transfer paper. We use plastisol ink because we know that quality maters when you want to print your logo or design. With over 30 years experience in the screen printing business, we know that a plastisol transfer can give you the best results.
Custom Plastisol Transfers
Our heat transfers are custom made to your specifications. You can send in your designs or have a member of our graphic artwork department create something just for you. Our goal is to give you the best heat transfer every time!
We use the best transfer inks available. Our inks are durable, but have a very soft feel to the touch when applied correctly with any of our heat press machines. Our heat transfers usually outlast the garments when applied correctly.
We have a huge selection of stock ink colors to choose from. If you don’t see the color you need from our stock transfer inks, you can choose a custom pantone number and we will match it for you.
Best Heat Transfers uses a premium coated release paper to ensure your transfers prints perfectly every time. They are easy to apply on 100% cotton or 50/50 cotton/polyester blend T-shirts and apparel.
Applying heat transfers on performance apparel
Best Heat Transfers , cotton soft formula will adhere on 100% cotton and 50/50 cotton polyester t-shirts, garments and other apparel. The cotton soft formula is not designed to work on 100% polyester , nylon or performance fabrics which may be treated with water repellents or sun blocking chemicals. We recommend using our Polyster Athletic Formula Custom transfers if you want to print on the 100% polyester blended performance or moisture wicking fabrics.

Washing Instructions
Washing Instructions
We recommend you wash your apparel inside out in cold water.
Tumble dry inside out on warm.
Do not iron the decoration.
Artwork Specifications
FILE FORMAT
Acceptable vector files: Adobe® Illustrator®, .ai , .eps, .pdf
Other files accepted: Adobe Photoshop non flattened file.
PLEASE SEND YOUR ARTWORK AT THE SIZE YOU WOULD LIKE IT PRINTED. If not, you must indicate the exact size you would like it changed to.
All non-vector artwork is subject to a Special art charge. Vector files will be evaluated to determine if they are print ready.
COLORS
Please use spot colors when creating your artwork. Only use white in your design if it represents white ink and your design is shown on a colored background.
FONTS
All fonts in vector artwork need to be converted to curves (CorelDRAW®) or outlines (Illustrator®). Once your text is converted and sent to us, it can no longer be edited.
LINE WEIGHT
All lines need to be a minimum weight of 1 pt. All negative spaces need to be a minimum thickness equivalent to 2 pts.
BACK PRINT – “UNDERBASE”.
If your design requires a back under base, a minimum thickness of 5 pts. is required (behind the fill) around the perimeter of the design.
