Now that you know what your image sizes need to be, the easy way to determine your layout is to use you graphic program. With Adobe Illustrator or Corel Draw follow these steps.

1. Go to the Document Setup and select Artboard settings.
2. Enter the “live area” width and height from your transfer supplier
3. Use the “box” tool, size the box to the exact size you want your transfer.
4. Allow 1/2″ of space in between each design for cutting ( 1/4″ if you plan to scissor cut)
5. Continue to fill the sheet with as many boxes that fit within the live area.

Now that your layout is complete, simply reference the price list for the desired product. Remember the cost you pay is by the sheet. The more images you can fit on the sheet, the lower the unit cost is for each custom transfer. If you have space on the sheet, be sure to take advantage of it.  In many cases, ink colors are simply black or white ink. Use the extra space to create samples to use as self promotions, or create other items to add to your sale such as a sleeve print or ball cap transfer. If you don’t use the blank space, then your throwing away extra profits!
